What are lab-grown diamonds

What are lab-grown diamonds?

Chemical vapor deposition is referred to as CVD.
This is a method of producing diamonds in a laboratory. It involves adding gases such as hydrogen and methane in a closed reaction chamber, using chemical reactions under high temperature and high pressure to convert the gases into solid diamonds.

What is the difference between lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds and moissanite?

Lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds are identical in physical, chemical, and optical properties. Although moissanite is silicon carbide, it is a completely different material.

Lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds are visually indistinguishable, and high-end jewelry appraisers cannot tell them apart with the naked eye! Moissanite only resembles diamonds in appearance, but it has an unnatural sparkle, allowing people to differentiate moissanite from diamonds.

The relationship between mined diamonds and lab-grown diamonds and moissanite is: natural pearls, cultured pearls, and plastic pearls.
